Jason Noll Leads IMCA Modifieds Back to Canyon Speedway
Kevin Montgomery PEORIA, Ariz. (April 11th, 2011) – While Mother Nature cruised to an easy victory last weekend it appears the weather has been given the black flag allowing the real racing action to heat up as the IMCA Modifieds fire back to life at Canyon Speedway this Saturday night.
El Mirage, Arizona’s Jason Noll will lead a large cast of Modified warriors back to action as he looks to heat up after Tim Ward iced the field at the last outing for the IMCA Modifieds. Ward was able to cash in on the big money and pick away at a very tight championship battle that has Noll just three points ahead of Terry Belcher Jr.
While Ward became the third different winner at Canyon Speedway with Marlyn Seilder claiming one win for the year it will be second place point sitter, Belcher who will have the most to gain. Belcher, who currently holds the runner up spot in the 2011 championship chase, remains winless but is among an array of potential winners all aiming to score their first victory of 2011.
The excitement gets hot as the IMCA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars and Bombers take on Canyon Speedway this Saturday night. The action fires up when general admission tickets go on sale at 5pm for only $15 for adults, Senior and Military $13 and children 12 under are always free. Racing will begin promptly at 7:30pm.
