Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (May 7, 2011) – Terry Belcher Jr. picked up his first IMCA Modified victory of 2011 and did so in grand fashion by earning his first from the scratch position.  Belcher who missed heat race action had to start at the rear of the field but was able to overcome a host of competitors to cross the stripe first and claim a Canyon Speedway win.

Belcher, a second generation Modified standout, was in good company with 2-time winner Jason Noll crossing the line in the second position and 2010 Champion Tim Ward filling the final podium spot.

Jeff Stafford and Joe Vlasity continued their dominance in Pure Stock and Bomber action while Jason George and Brian Stehr took honors in X-Mods and Dwarf Cars.
