Madrid Masters Night One of Memorial Day Weekend

Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (May 28, 2011) – Anthony Madrid mastered the mayhem of night one of the two day Memorial Weekend at Peoria’s Canyon Speedway.  Madrid, who started seventh, was able to work his way to the front and pass race leader Terry Belcher Jr. winning his first 25-lap Total Seal Dirt Late Model main event of 2011.

Madrid was followed to the line by Jerry Fincher, Lonnie Parker Jr. with Paul Banghart and John Cornell rounding out the top five.

Jeff Stafford and Joe Vlasity continued their winning ways in Pure Stocks and Bomber Mania while Nick Gann and Jason George took honors in Modlites and X-Mod competition.

The Total Seal Late Model will kick off night two of the Memorial Day double header Sunday night with general admission tickets going on sale at 5pm for only $15 for adults, Senior and Military $13 and children 12 under are always free. Racing will begin promptly at 7:30pm.
