Kevin Montgomery PEORIA, Ariz. (June 21st, 2011) – When the Total Seal Late Model Series returns to Peoria’s Canyon Speedway this Saturday night, Anthony Madrid will be the man to beat as he try’s for his fourth win of the year.

Madrid, who holds a slight point advantage over Lonnie Parker Jr., has managed three wins on the year all of them coming at Canyon Speedway.  After sweeping the Memorial Day double it seemed as if Madrid was unstoppable heading to USA Raceway but it was Ricky Thornton Jr. that put an end to the streak that was just beginning.

Thornton, who also has one victory at Canyon Speedway, made his way into the top three in the point’s standings with his victory last week over John Cornell.  Thornton will look for his third Late Model victory as he attempts to chase down Madrid.

Madrid will pull double duty as he attempts to put a stop to a seven race Bomber Mania win streak held by Joe Vlasity.  Vlasity will again try to capitalize on the added Bomber Mania purse and pick up his eighth win and the $150 prize.

Ty Warner will go for his third win in Pure Stock action as he came from the rear of the field last Saturday to pick up his second win of the year and $500.  The Pure Stock win will again be worth $500 and Canyon Speedway has added a $100 bonus for any driver that chooses to start at the back of the field and is able to win making a $600 payday for the winner.

The Arizona Super Stock Series will join the action along with the ASCS2 Micro’s.  General admission tickets will go on sale at 4pm for only $15, racing will begin promptly at 7:30pm.
