Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (July 21, 2011) – A herd of Stock Car standouts are headed to Canyon Speedway this Saturday night for the Sember Motorsports $500 to win/$75 to start 25-lap Stock Car event and they will be greeted with one of the best regular season payouts of the year as the purse reaches more than $2500.

While the stakes are high and Stock Car glory is forthcoming, top competitors will have the opportunity to face off head to head in the Ellis Racing Stock Car Pole Challenge.  The top two finishers from each heat race will square off in multiple two car grudge matches with the winner staying while the loser heads to the pits.  Each two-lap match will be worth $25 and one step closer to starting from the highly desired pole position for the $500 to win feature event.

The eventual winner of the Ellis Racing Stock Car Pole Challenge will collect an additional $50 and will have the option to start on the pole or take the $100 front row challenge.  If the driver elects to start at the rear of a very stout field of Stock Car standouts, that driver will be eligible for $600 if they can win from the back.

Joining the Stock Car event will be the super fast ASCS Wing Sprint Cars, ASCS2 Winged Micro’s along with Bombers for a spectacular July event.  The fun begins when general admission tickets will go on sale at 4pm for only $15, racing will begin promptly at 7:30pm.  Kid’s 12 and under are FREE!
