More Than $40,000 to Be Awarded at 2012 Banquet

Kevin Montgomery PEORIA, Ariz. (November 22^nd, 2012) – With the final points race of the year complete and the 2012 season concluded, focus will shift direction as we honor racers from seven divisions with more than $40,000 in points fund money to be distributed at the 2012 Championship awards banquet.

The awards ceremony, scheduled for December 8^th, will honor champions and participants from seven Arizona racing divisions including two ASCS regions, IMCA Modifieds, Challenge Cup Sprint Car Series along with Canyon Speedway’s Pure Stocks, X-Mods and Bombers

Tickets, which must be purchased by November 29^th, are now on sale.  The awards ceremony will take place at the Native New Yorker in Glendale, Arizona on December 8^th, 2012 and will kick off with a Happy Hour at 6pm with dinner and awards starting at 7pm.

The 2013 Canyon Speedway Winter Challenge will get the dirt flying for a new year of racing action this January.  The Winter Challenge will feature top traditional Sprint Car drivers from around the country as the American Sprint Car Series faces off with the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series while IMCA Modified aces converge in the valley of the sun for what is anticipated to be one of the largest racing events of 2013.
