Stock Car Shootout Succumbs to Flooding

CSP Logo New SmallLonnie Wheatley, PEORIA, Ariz. (August 31, 2013) – Severe flooding has forced the cancelation of this weekend’s scheduled Stock Car Shootout atop the 1/3-mile Canyon Speedway Park clay oval near Phoenix.

The event was set for Saturday and Sunday before flooding forced the cancelation.

Next on the docket at Canyon Speedway Park is The Mr. Excitement 40 Tribute to Terry Belcher on September 20-21 featuring the West Coast Late Models vs. SWDRA Late Models along with IMCA Modifieds, Viper Smart Start Pure Stocks and Renegades on both nights with Dwarf Cars joining in on the action on the 21st.
