The Arizona Figure 8 Championships Slated For October 5th at CSP!

Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (September 12, 2013) – A complete night of automotive mayhem is on tap for the added event October 5th as the extreme excitement of Figure 8 racing comes back to Canyon Speedway.

After a one year absence the dare devils of the Figure 8 series will return to Canyon Speedway for a special edition, one night event and for the first time ever at the Peoria, Arizona facility, Spectator Races and AutoCross will join the card.

Autocross will feature Renegade and Hornet type cars racing on a special designed road course using part of the Figure 8 track and half the oval track.  Drivers will compete in a nonstop action filled race with the winner earning $500.

Spectator Races will feature anyone that wants to test their skills against another competitor in the street legal grudge races.  Each driver will compete, with a street legal and licensed vehicle, against another driver with the winner staying on the track to defend against the next competitor while the eventual winner will earn half the total entry fees and bragging rights!
